Gambia

Gambia is to the surface one of Africa's smallest countries with about 2 million inhabitants. The country is very long and narrow and are about 320 km long and 45km wide on some parts. Its borders follow the meandering Gambia River, whose source is located in Guinea. The country has a coastline on the Atlantic Ocean that is 80km.

The country is rich in culture and Djembe drum is a popular feature in the Gambian music. Every day there are orchestras performing with African dancers.

The climate is subtropical and from October to May the average temperatures of 30 ° C and the sun is almost always shining under this period. The rainy season is between May-September temperature drops and the Gambia becomes a lush garden during this period.
