Gambia is to the surface one of Africa's smallest countries with about 2 million inhabitants. The country is rich in culture and Djembe drum is a popular feature in the Gambian music. Every day there are orchestras performing with African dancers.

The climate is subtropical and from October to May the average temperatures of 30 ° C and the sun is almost always shining under this period. The rainy season is between May-September temperature drops and the Gambia becomes a lush garden during this period.
